About West End Guest House
West End Guest House occupies a former Victorian farmhouse on Reeth Road, around ten minutes' walk from Richmond's Market Place, and has built a strong reputation as one of the town's better-value places to stay without compromising on comfort. It holds a Visit Britain Gold award for both accommodation and breakfast, reflecting consistently high standards across its six individually decorated en-suite rooms.
Rooms come with flat-screen TVs, Egyptian cotton linens and free wi-fi, and the house offers free on-site parking along with storage for bicycles and luggage, a useful detail for anyone walking the Coast to Coast path or arriving by bike. A minimum two-night stay applies, and the house does not accept children under ten or pets other than guide dogs, which keeps the atmosphere geared towards couples and walking groups.

Perfect guest house! Location wise its set back from the road in a lovely setting. Our room was great, had all the little extras which just made it so good. Everything has been thought about and covered. The host Emma was lovely, nothing was too much trouble . 10 min walk if that into the town centre. Breakfast was also fabulous. Free parking too . The house is spotlessly clean too. One of the best guest houses we’ve stayed in.

The B&B is ideally situated with only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Richmond. Lots of off road parking space. The hosts could not have been more helpful; excellent choice of options for breakfast, lots of extras in the room such as tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Very comfortable double room with a very spacious en-suite. We had a lovely 5 nights here and could not have asked for more. Many thanks Emma and Mark!

Fantastic B&B for the price, great location, had a single room that had a big comfy bed! Great facilities and gorgeous room. Big choice on breakfast menu, had the most delicious smoked salmon and scrambled egg, could have had yogurt and cereal too. Top quality food and service from Emma. Made very welcome by Mark and Emma. Will highly recommend a stay here.
