What visitors say
Our visit to Fort Evergreen was one of those easy, feel‑good family days where the kids were entertained from the second we arrived. The donkeys were the unexpected highlight — they stood there happily soaking up all the attention while the kids chatted away to them like they were old friends. The Dino Dig was another big hit. They were fully committed to the archaeologist life, digging like they were about to uncover a real T‑Rex fossil and proudly showing off every “discovery.” And the soft play… that was basically their energy‑burning paradise. They vanished into it, reappeared red‑faced and sweaty, then dived straight back in without a second thought. Overall, Fort Evergreen delivered exactly what you want on a family day out: loads to do, zero stress, and happy, tired kids by the end of it.

It was our second visit to Fortevergreen yesterday, and we'll definitely be back! Our kids (5½ and 2½) are the perfect age for it, and they loved every part just as much as the last. It's not a huge place, but it's so well thought out that you can easily make the most of your visit. Our highlights were cuddling the baby goats and feeding the deer and goats. We also had photos with the "unicorn", dug for dinosaur bones, tried to scare the giant dinosaurs, played in the playground, and finished by burning off the last of their energy in the fantastic soft play area. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, and the ice cream from the little shop is delicious! A special shout-out to Sophie, who was incredible with the kids during all of the interactive animal activities. She was so kind, patient, and attentive, making sure every child felt included and had a great experience.
