Bewl Water lies within easy reach of Chessons Farm – Stable Cottage, a ground-floor property on a working farm in the Bewl Valley. The reservoir draws anglers and sailors, while the surrounding countryside is crossed by established walking routes. The area around Wadhurst and Tunbridge Wells has enough to occupy a week or fill quiet afternoons between exploring closer to home.

The cottage is built for a straightforward stay. An open-plan living space flows into a kitchen where you can cook proper meals; a double and a twin bedroom sleep four; a bathroom has a bath with shower. French doors open from the living area onto an enclosed garden with patio and furniture. Parking for two cars is on site, and Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One dog is welcome. No smoking.

This works best for families or small groups wanting to base themselves somewhere quiet and use the property as a launchpad for days out. There is a landscaped pond 50 yards from the cottage.
