The kitchen is genuinely equipped for cooking—electric hob, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, slow cooker, steamer and air fryer mean you can prepare proper meals rather than make do. Heating is via oil and electric central heating throughout.

The layout spreads across three floors. On the lower ground, the kitchen sits alongside the main living space, which centres on a wood burner—useful after exploring Bedgebury Park's forests and cycling routes. Upstairs are three bedrooms (sleeping six overall) and a bathroom with bath and shower; one bedroom has an ensuite with its own bath. Outside, a substantial private garden includes a patio, firepit, sitting areas and barbecue, with parking for two cars and a bike store. One well-behaved dog stays free of charge. The cottage does not permit smoking.
