Trent House

Bexhill's promenade runs directly past Trent House, putting the beach within immediate reach and opening up the whole stretch of coast for walking. The De La Warr Pavilion is close by, and Minnie Bertha's offers refreshment without leaving the seafront. The apartment itself occupies the ground floor of a coastal building, arranged around an open-plan living, kitchen and dining space that faces the water. Two bedrooms, each with a king bed, and two bathrooms mean four guests can spread out comfortably.

The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook what you want or keep things simple. Large windows bring light into the living area, where a smart TV and doors onto a balcony let you settle in for the day. Gas central heating covers the colder months. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; on-road parking is available outside. The property does not permit smoking.

This works well for couples, families with young children (a travel cot and highchair are provided) or friends wanting a straightforward base near the beach. There is no lift, so ground-floor access suits most people easily.
