Just been with my parents today for a Christmas present. It was just what we needed. The owners are funny, knowledgeable and patient to wobbly hands. I loved every moment and in the car on the way home my parents both kept chatting away about the experience and how much they enjoyed it. Can't wait to get our finished jugs/vases (open to interpretation)

I had a great experience at this pottery workshop. The space was welcoming and well set up, and the instructor steve explained everything clearly while still giving us freedom to experiment. It was hands-on from the start, and even as a beginner I felt supported the whole time. The atmosphere was relaxed and creative, and Imade pieces I’m genuinely excited about. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something creative or spend a fun, calming afternoon.

The Potters Barn hosted an inspiring pottery experience for a group of beginners during a staff away day hosted at Keele Uni campus. It was superb - a chance to try the wheel, hand build and decorate. Big thanks to Andrew for creating a relaxing and warm atmosphere. It was an added bonus when the fired pots arrived in the post a few weeks later. I would really recommend this for any groups looking for an introduction to the world of pottery or to try something new as a team. Thank you Potters Barn!

A wonderful hidden gem of a place - welcoming to beginners and experienced potters alike. I've been going to the Thursday evening class for over 10 years now, and Andy and Steve are brilliant. Their knowledge is second to none and they are always helpful. The one off day classes are also fantastic for getting a taste of both throwing on the wheel and hand building.
