What visitors say
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park today and had an amazing day out. The park is incredibly clean, well maintained, and easy to get around, with plenty to see throughout the day. The highlights for us were definitely the polar bears, lions, capybaras, and seals. It was fantastic being able to see these animals up close in such large, well designed enclosures. The polar bears were especially impressive and a real standout attraction. The staff were friendly, the facilities were excellent, and there were plenty of places to grab food and drinks. It was clear that a lot of care goes into both the animals’ welfare and the visitor experience. Overall, Yorkshire Wildlife Park is one of the best wildlife parks we’ve visited. A brilliant day out and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and memorable day with family or friends.

We had a fantastic day out at Yorkshire Wildlife Park! We visited on a sunny weekend, so it was understandably busy, but everything was very well organised. Despite the crowds, there were no long queues to get in, which made for a great start to the day. The park is beautifully maintained with excellent facilities throughout. The animal enclosures are spacious, and it's clear that the welfare of the animals is a top priority. There was plenty to see, and the wide paths meant it never felt overcrowded. We especially enjoyed the restaurant, which featured a fun dinosaur animation that kept everyone entertained while we ate. The food was good, and there were plenty of seating options. The gift shops were also excellent, with a great selection of souvenirs and gifts to suit all ages. Overall, Yorkshire Wildlife Park is a brilliant day out for families, couples, or animal lovers. Well worth a visit—especially on a sunny day! We'll definitely be returning.

Absolutely brilliant place. Being a cheshire boy the biggest thing growing up was the well known zoo. The YWP though is miles better. Feels cleaner, lots on offer and the food is really reasonably priced. We spent the entire day there and could happily do the same again tomorrow. The idea of booking an entry time slot seems to work quite well to keep crowd congestion to a minimum. We had a great time. Plenty of kids play areas to break up the walking too. I confess, i "had to" join the 4yo on a climbing frame to guide him to the big slide. At 43 and with a backpack this was a challenge but utterly worth it 😁. Everyone looked to be having fun. When home time arrived we called in at guest services and upgraded to annual membership, which turned into an unexpected and welcome giggle with the staff.
