Gate House Wood Country Park

Lovely site hardstanding pitches maintained well. Facilities good, friendly staff always there to help. Coffee shop amazing and a few extra pounds put on whilst there. Location great if visiting Dover or Canterbury. No concerns and would definitely return again.

Came away for a short weekend break not too far from home. So location was perfect, site we found to be clean, litter free, with great facilities. The staff were lovely, Ian who couldn't do enough for us and the lady in the coffee shop always had a smile and made the best coffee for miles. The pastries were a very welcome addition. We will come back and next time maybe with our younger grandchildren as perfect for them as there's a small play area with a sandpit on the middle of the site so I'll be able to keep an eye on them. See you again one day soon! Thank you. 🥰

This is our favourite caravan site. Martin & Caroline that run the site are just superb. Very helpful. They keep the site spotless Ive never seen a bit of rubbish lying. The shower facilities are always clean. We’ve had a few technical issues with our caravan & Martin has been so helpful. There’s a kids play area right in the centre of the site our grandchildren love it when visiting. There’s a coffee shop serves toasties & of course lots of cakes. 😊🌸

Stayed at gatehouse wood camp site. Brilliant site, friendly people, especially the staff. Would definitely come here again. Manager makes everyone feel welcome, even tents, rooftents, trailer tents. Thank u.
