Halstead is a rural village inside the M25, positioned between London—reachable by train in 40 minutes—and Kent's garden country. Havre De Calme is a single-bedroom lodge on one level, sleeping four, with its own entrance and parking. A shared heated swimming pool (open May to September, 8am to 8pm) sits in the grounds alongside a front garden and rear patio.
The bedroom has a double bed. Two single sofa beds in the living room accommodate additional guests or children. A wet room with shower and grab rail serves the property. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, hob, fridge-freezer and combi microwave, making it straightforward to cook properly rather than rely on takeaways. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
One dog can stay free. The property does not permit smoking. Farmland surrounds the site, and bedroom windows overlook open countryside where badgers and deer occasionally appear. The village has a licensed shop within reach on foot.
