I was using campsite here on my bikepacking trip in shetland. Clean toilets. Coin operated showers. There is small well equipped kitchen with fridge, kettle, microwave etc. Nice camping area with lovely little harbour, small beach near by and Bird watching hide in a wooden hut.

A very organised community run facility by a small volunteer team, which offers all the facilities you need. We appreciated the use of the washing machine and dryer and the ability to use their waste disposal service. £27 per night is good value especially when you get to meet lovely caring locals who are genuinely looking to chat. Oh, and as a bonus, there is a honesty box, which is like a Cake Fridge but bigger and better, as there is bread, eggs and meat..perfect way to stock up on some essential items, so you don't need to go into town to get them! A clean, tranquil site situated in the harbour of Skeld run by volunteers who are a credit to the site as the site is to the Shetlands! Thank you all for a wonderful stay.
