A Masterclass in Sunday Lunch From the moment you walk into the hall the atmosphere sets the tone. The architecture and decor are breathtaking—soaring ceilings, stunning historical detail, and a wonderfully elegant ambiance that makes the meal feel like a special occasion before you even take a seat. As impressive as the setting is, the food completely steals the show. It is abundantly clear that the chef really knows what he’s doing. Every element of the Sunday roast was executed to perfection. Outstanding food, impeccable surroundings, and warm, attentive service to top it off. If you're looking for an unforgettable Sunday lunch, this is the gold standard. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful place afternoon tea was amazing pre booked a vegetarian edition of the sandwiches which was flavourful and beautifully presented. Dining room for the afternoon tea is laid out beautifully such a historic place. £37 pounds per person for afternoon tea which we thought for the service and food you receive was very very reasonable.

I attended the Blessing of Melanie and Dave as the best man on Friday . I am never lost for words and I have been trying to write a review that sums up this venue and its staff that is befitting enough. And in simple words " you are simply the best". The building and parts of the grounds and gardens that I managed to get to see ,were breath taking. Stunning and the absolute perfect setting for a wedding. A video released today of the wedding day showcases why this place is perfect for a wedding venue. It is however not just the venue that makes a wedding it is the staff who work tirelessly to make the day run smoothly . The unsung hero's of the day. I don't think you truly understand how important you are in making special memories for so many that last for the rest of our lives. So I whole heartedly thank each and every one of you wonderfull people. Having just seen a video of the day that has just been released onto youtube ,non of this would have been possible without this great venue as the backdrop and you all working hard in the background. So you don't just provide a service be it a receptionist , a cleaner , bar person etc etc , you are also in the background helping to make these ever lasting memories. This couple have had a tough few years and more tough times still ahead. So to be able to spend a few days away from it all ,being pampered and surrounded by friends and family, whom you all looked after so dilligently and respectfully having a laugh with many of us along the way, is just what the Doctor ordered. I thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart for what you all did to make this day a truly magical day. Speaking to my sister Melanie, last night at 12 am ,she didn't want to go to bed. She was on a high and buzzing still and she didn't want all this to end. Dave was the exactly the same And from myself, personally ,I will never be able to thank you all enough for what you all did in helping to make this feeling for them both again. The unsung and all too often unappreciated and neglected heros . Xxxxxxx
