You’re in for a treat when you stay here! If you want to get away, relax and enjoy the beauty of the countryside, stay at the Moorhead B&B in North Shropshire. From the moment you arrive, you’re cheerfully welcomed by Rebecca with warmth and and a genuine desire to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Rebecca’s years of experience in the hospitality industry show with multiple thoughtful touches that mean you in instantly relax and feel at home. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, with a fabulous king sized bed, spacious bathroom and generous tea and coffee making facilities. The most memorable aspect of the room is the bay window seating area and table with stunning views across the fields and farmland. We could have sat there for hours! Again, all the thoughtful, little touches in the room show how much Rebecca has put into the bedrooms and her desire to make you want for very little. A small comfortable lounge with an open log fire is also provided on the ground floor with optional games for the comfort of guests. Even an ironing board is tucked away here should you need to use it. The breakfast room is a sheer delight on the ground floor with a table set aside for the guests in each room. You’re treated to a beautifully presented and tasty cooked breakfast with a great choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast and preserves. There’s even a fridge provided here for guests to use should they need to keep something stored chilled. Outside, there is plenty of parking space, and as the B&B is down a gated private lane, you feel very safe, secluded and comfortable. We will definitely return to enjoy more than the one night we stayed here, next time, and have no hesitation in recommending this beautifully secluded and charming B&B. Thank you Rebecca - you made our stay truly relaxing and memorable. Your guidance on the local facilities really helped us in readiness for the wedding we were attending.

Excellent, friendly service from booking to checkout! Lovely, warm welcome from Rebecca. We stayed in room 3 which is a bright, comfortable room, with lots of thoughtful touches- which was the same in the lounge & breakfast room. Breakfast was also fabulous- good, varied menu with quality ingredients. We will definitely stay again if in the area & highly recommend

From the very start, Rebecca was an absolute star. Her proactive communication and all the useful information she shared made us feel confident we were in for a lovely stay and we truly were. She greeted us on a rainy day with a big smile that instantly made us feel at home. The house is beautifully set among rare farmlands, offering peace and scenic charm. Our room, which had a private balcony, gave us stunning countryside views. Having binoculars provided in the room was such a thoughtful touch we loved watching the birds while relaxing outside. The place itself is full of delightful details board games both in the room and the lobby, Sky and Netflix for cozy evenings, and a nice selection of snacks and small bites available.Breakfast was served with a view, and it was excellent fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. My wife and I truly enjoyed every part of our stay, and we will definitely be coming back.
