What visitors say
A no nonsense quiet campsite with a good location for walks and seeing historic Shropshire. We booked after being let down by another site and we couldn’t have been assisted more. Wonderful owners and a relaxed ethos, I’d really recommend people come here to stay for a quiet trip. Allowing dogs and fires, while offering basic warm shower and toilet facilities, for the more experienced camper this site is perfect. Highly recommended.

The Coates farm is a lovely campsite in a good location. Next to a road which was not bothersome at all. Great walks from the site to Wenlock edge. Town about a mile across fields. One farm toilet and basin. Great stop on the way to Wales.

Our short stay at Coats Farm was a true delight. Despite the weather's whims, the idyllic scenery around the farm and Tim, Liz and Sarah's warm hospitality made it unforgettable. Our 9-year-old was ecstatic seeing the bulls and horses. Basic facilities were available, and the fire pitches added a cozy touch. The public walks offered peaceful exploration. Coats Farm is the ideal destination for a tranquil countryside getaway with friendly hosts. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories. Thank you for the experience.

Fantastic views from the farm campsite, fresh water, black waste disposal beautiful sunsets over the mountains, very peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, friendly owners, good walks / cycle rides up into the hills or along the disused railway line.
