Astbury Falls Luxury Retreat is a detached lodge on the Shropshire-Worcestershire border, positioned for exploring one of England's most historically layered corners. Bridgnorth itself sits on a dramatic sandstone ridge above the Severn, and from here you can reach Ironbridge Gorge—birthplace of the Industrial Revolution—in under twenty minutes by car. The Severn Valley Railway runs steam trains through the valley. Ludlow, famous for its castle, Georgian architecture and independent food scene, is a similar drive away. Shrewsbury's Tudor centre and riverside sits further north.
The property sleeps four across two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two singles. Both have en-suite shower rooms with heated towel rails. Everything is on the ground floor, organised as an open-plan living space that flows from a sitting area with Smart TV and electric woodburner through to a dining zone and kitchen. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking, with gas and electric hobs, oven, dishwasher, microwave and breakfast bar. Patio doors open onto a decked balcony. You have private parking for two cars and a front garden with seating. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. No smoking.
This is a holiday let for adult groups only—no children, and no hen or stag parties.

What guests say
We have been here a couple of times and will happily return soon. It's very peaceful with the sound of the waterfall and the occasional steam train. The balcony is a superb place to stargaze on a clear night. The town of Bridgnorth is only a short drive away. It's a proper relaxing holiday and the lodges are of a very high standard.
