Waterfall Lodge
Shropshire
The sound of running water is part of what you wake up to at Waterfall Lodge. Set on a private, gated site in the Severn Valley near Bridgnorth, the lodge sits within woodland and backs onto the grounds where a waterfall adds to the quietness of the place. It's a ground-floor property, which means no stairs to navigate with luggage or children—three bedrooms, one bathroom, and space to move around without feeling cramped.
The open-plan living area is where people tend to gather. There's a kitchen with electric oven and gas hob for proper cooking, a dining space that opens onto a terrace, and a sitting room with a smart TV and electric woodburner for evenings. Two of the bedrooms are doubles; the third has twin single beds. One double has an ensuite; the other shares a Jack-and-Jill arrangement with it. The main shower room serves the twin room. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered in the price.
The enclosed garden has patio furniture for sitting out. Bridgnorth is close enough for a quick trip into town, and a pub lies within a mile. No smoking inside the lodge.
