Hares Hollow
Shropshire
Hares Hollow sits in countryside within reach of Offa's Dyke and the River Severn valleys, close enough to Llangollen for a day trip but far enough out to feel genuinely rural. The converted barn has four bedrooms across two floors: a king with ensuite on the first floor, a zip-and-link super king (which can split into singles), a double, and a twin room. Three bathrooms mean mornings are straightforward with a group. Downstairs holds the main living space with a woodburner, a kitchen fitted with an electric range and dishwasher, and direct access to the garden where a private hot tub seats six.
The essentials are covered—heating, power, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included—plus logs for the fire. A lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue wraps around the property. One dog can come along. The location works for families or groups after a quiet base; Oswestry and Welshpool are 15 minutes away, Shrewsbury and Chester half an hour, and the market towns offer proper restaurants and shops. Those wanting to walk have Offa's Dyke path nearby, while Llangollen's steam railway and white water rafting are a 20-minute drive.
