The Hideaway

Within reach of The Hideaway are forest walks, country pubs, and market towns like Ludlow and Bridgnorth. The property sits on a quiet wooded estate where guests have exclusive use of the surrounding fields and woodland to explore during their stay.

This detached shepherd's hut accommodates three people: a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and a shower room all under one roof. There's no mains electricity—solar panels power the lights, fridge and sockets instead. An external kitchen in a garden shed houses an electric cooker, microwave and fridge; an outdoor heated shower and toilet serve the grounds. A fire pit, garden furniture and summerhouse occupy the sitting area. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included. One dog stays free.

The woodland setting means brambles, nettles and uneven ground—suitable clothing and sturdy footwear matter. There is no television or Wi-Fi; tree cover makes torches useful after dark. Parking for two cars sits in an adjacent field, a short walk from the hut. No smoking.
