This converted sawmill building retains the character of its industrial past while offering comfortable modern accommodation. Set in the Clun valley within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it provides a secluded base for exploring the Shropshire borderlands. The property is yours alone, with parking on site and direct access to the surrounding countryside.
Two bedrooms sleep seven: one with a kingsize bed, the other with three single beds. The second bathroom is a shower room. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining area has a sofa bed, smart TV and DVD player; the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with dishwasher, washing machine and all essentials included. Bed linen and Wi-Fi are provided. The grounds feature a large lawn, patio with furniture, and a private hot tub and sauna—useful after a day's walking or cycling. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The house is on one level with step-free entrance.
Ludlow's restaurants, castle and annual festival lie 13 miles south. Church Stretton and Shrewsbury are similarly accessible, as is Ironbridge Gorge. The Offa's Dyke long-distance path can be joined nearby. A pub is half a mile away and a shop two miles. No smoking indoors.

What guests say
What a place. Groung floor level, exsquisitly converted barn set in arable farm land. Hot tub and sauna included and so quiet. Nature lovers paradise (kites, buzzards, owls). Within easy reach of Shropshire/ Herefordshire market towns for days out or just chill in the hot tub. Owners are attentive and welcoming and the place is kept spotless. I shouldn't be telling you all this as we want to return, so please don't book it! Highly recommended without hesitation.
