The Old Yard House

Shropshire's countryside offers plenty to explore within reach of The Old Yard House. Medieval market towns, market gardens, country estates and walking routes through farmland are all nearby. The property itself sits in a rural setting, on a single level throughout, with six bedrooms and six bathrooms that can accommodate up to 13 guests. Each bedroom has an en-suite: one king with bath and shower, one family room with double and single beds, two doubles, and two twins with showers.

The kitchen has two electric ovens and a gas hob, making it practical for cooking for a large group. You'll find a fridge/freezer, two dishwashers, microwave, television with Sky, DVD player and Wi-Fi. Outside, there's substantial off-road parking, a garden with a terrace, table, benches and a barbecue for outdoor meals. The property has shared use of an indoor swimming pool and tennis court. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The house does not permit smoking.

A travel cot and highchair are available. This works well for multi-generational family gatherings or groups of friends wanting private bedrooms and communal space.
