This converted barn near Oswestry stands at the end of a private road in quiet countryside, within reach of both Shropshire and North Wales. The Wain House accommodates twelve guests across six bedrooms spread over two floors. Ground level has a sitting room with a 42-inch TV, a separate dining room opening to the garden, and a kitchen fitted with a gas hob, electric oven and dishwasher. One bedroom and a shower room are also downstairs. Upstairs, five further bedrooms include one kingsize, three doubles and one single, alongside a second bathroom and a shower room with an ensuite. The garden is lawned with furniture and a barbecue, and there is private parking for six vehicles. Guests with horses can arrange stabling for up to two. From here, the coast of North Wales and Snowdonia lie within an hour's drive. Closer by are the Iron Age hill fort at Oswestry itself, National Trust properties including Powis Castle and Chirk Castle, and walking routes along Offa's Dyke.
