Woodland Escapes - Rowan Tree Lodge

Rowan Tree Lodge is a single-storey property at the end of a private road in Shropshire, surrounded by woodland. The open-plan layout combines living, dining and kitchen areas on the ground floor, with a double bedroom and shower room also at ground level. Everything runs on electric central heating, and there's a woodburner for additional warmth—the first load of wood is provided. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included in your stay.

The kitchen is well set up for self-catering: electric oven and hob, combi microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine mean you can cook properly or keep things simple as you choose. The living space has a smart TV, Freesat and DVD player. Outside, the property has a hot tub for two, garden furniture, a barbecue and a patio area. One small dog is welcome, and there is parking for one car on site. The lodge does not accept children under 12, and smoking is not permitted.

Ludlow is nearby, with its medieval town centre and castle. The wider area forms part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with footpaths and woodland trails accessible from the estate itself.
