What visitors say
It was our first time visiting, we had booked the pig experience. On arrival, we parked in there car park, it is quiet small and not a lot of spaces during busier times. We arrived early, so we sat on the seating provided for a while, and stroked the farm cats, who were very friendly. We went into the farm shop and bought snacks, drinks and a alpaca teddy. I found the drinks and snacks very reasonably priced. We bought some food to feed the alpacas while we waited for the pig experience to begin which was fab. Once 2pm arrived which was our allocated slot, we wasn't quiet sure what to do. We had checked in, inside the shop and asked to wait outside but there didn't seem to be any designated place to wait for booked experiences. After approx 10mins of waiting, I asked a member of staff if we had missed the call for the experience starting. The staff member was friendly and said somebody would come and get us shortly. A few mins later a staff member came and asked if we was here for the pigs. We then went a visited mary and her newly birthed piglets which was lovely. Afterwards we headed up to the rest of the pigs. We assumed which was our mistake that micro pigs were small pigs ( like piglet size ) however the staff member explained that no these were the mirco pigs( that was approx knee height ) We fed them bread, and that was really it. We wasn't able to brush them as stated in the initial experience page ( The staff member stated it was due to there skin? So maybe this needs removing from the experience until it can be started again ), so it was 30mins of feeding Pigs bread. Which was a little disappointing. Maybe that was our own naivety. However in the experience pics on the website it does show a member of staff holding a very small pig which again we assumed was the micro pigs. I think it would be a great idea to explain a little more as the staff member did mention a lot of customers expect piglet size pigs. we did have a lovely couple of hours however. All the staff we're very lovely, my son enjoyed holding a ferret and tortoise. We will definitely book again but maybe not the pig experience. We also looked to book to do the alpaca experience where you relax with them in the field but it didn't allow us to add that on, for the same day which was a shame. I used my blue light card, and was pleased with the offer. Overall its a lovely little farm, with friendly staff, there was plenty of hand washing facilities also. Hopefully we will return again soon for the alpaca experience. My son is autistic, and the staff that showed us the pigs and let us handle the other farm animals we're very supportive and friendly towards him which is much appreciated as he loves to ask questions and talk 🤣. Many Thanks

My daughter and I did the full alpaca, donkey and meerkat experience. We had a great day. Definitely glad we wore wellies and clothes we weren't fussed about getting dirty, because we left absolutely filthy! All good fun though and exactly what we were expecting since my daughter is happiest on a farm! All the staff were lovely. My only teeny tiny moan is that I thought we would have a bit of a short break between animals. I'm getting on a bit and could be in better shape, so maybe 10 minutes just to get a coffee and a sit down would've been welcomed by me! My daughter didn't care, but she's young and fit! Thank you for providing us with such lovely memories

The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing experience walking the alpacas as well as doing the piggy experience. Courtney was really good at explaining everything there was to know about the alpacas and the pigs. They give you a short introduction to all the alpacas and they tell you a bit about their personalities and then you get to choose which one you’d like to take for a walk. For the piggy experience, we got to feed the big ones and we also spent some time inside the pen of the smaller pigs. There are also other animals which you can see and interact with such as goats, ferrets, meerkats and donkeys. Overall a 10/10 experience and would highly recommend.

Amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great range of delightful animals. Loved the Meerkats - Such cute and funky little creatures! Highly recommended. It was delightful to see the positive interactions between many different animals. Absolute paradise for them as they are so well loved and cared for. Unique set-up of one big happy family of fur and feather! Thanks so much to all 🥰
