Rowanbank Caravan Park

Lovely well kept & very immaculate site. Showers were hot, toilets were always clean. Very friendly & helpful. We arrived on Good Friday & were advised not to put awning up due to Storm Dave & glad we listened. Solway across the road from site also bus stop outside. A few days later we had a steady hr long stroll along the solway into Silloth & back, it was like stepping back in time. Bakery, co op couple of fish & chip shops, cafes & Lovely park for kids.

Bob really took care of us. He was reliable and dependable in keeping the site safe and the people here are very friendly. I would highly recommend. We had the best yearly holiday trip with the heatwave. We would love to come back!

Amazing location, easy access. The pitch was level and the site was clean. Huge minus for sanitary block. I would say 2/5 maximum. I am not sure if we ever stayed at caravan park with such poor showers. Dirty, malfunctioning and well....dirty. I had to hold yhe shower button all way through the shower, and each time water accidently stopped flowing I had to move away as pressing button again was starting with a cold water flow. My wife considered not taking a shower due to dead insects and unsanitary appeal. We stayed in the campervan.

A lovely laid out park, very pleasant helpful gentleman who booked us in and explained the site for us, plenty of Drinking Water points, hard standing, EHU , clean toilets and slightly outdated showers but worked adequately well, we had no complaints,great walk down to the beach for the dogs. A lovely nicely looked after site, quite and best of all very dark at night as has no lights around, my type of place ( use torches).One of the most relaxing stays I’ve had.Definitely will visit again.Recommended.
