About Top Yard Farm Caravan Park

Folk setting off for Skegness will find a friendly welcome at Top Yard Farm Caravan Park, a small family-run site two miles from the lively Lincolnshire coastal resort. The amicable vibe is obvious from arrival – whether that's a greeting from the team themselves or chatting with fellow guests drawn by the relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The facilities are well kept: a clean toilet and shower block (with a bath available), drinking water, washing-up and laundry sinks, plus a play area to tire out the kids and a dog walk for four-legged friends.

As well as being close to Skegness seafront and its famous attractions, you're about five minutes' drive from the village of Croft, where the local pub is just the spot for catching up with friends over a drink when you don't fancy cooking. It's a fine base both for seaside times and exploring what the surrounding Lincolnshire coast has to offer – and that's quite a bit.

What visitors say

The tent pitches were spacious and the toilet/shower facilities were excellent and well maintained. The owner was lovely and helpful and it’s only a short drive to the main part of Skegness. The children’s play area was loved by our 3 year old as well as a lot of other children who were visiting.

Great value for money camp site. A basic site but doesn't declare to be anything different. Really good park/play area for the little ones. Show on arrival where everything could be found. My only little niggle would be the showers, I by no means begrudge paying the 50p for a hot shower, however don't very often carry cash, but now we know for future visits. Highly recommend this site.

We spent a whole week there. We recommend it to everyone. The entire property is very well-maintained, and the owners are very nice. We will definitely return.🖐🖐🖐 One thing that would be useful is Wi-Fi available in the area.

There was only one electric hook up box that accommodated 4 tents, which ment all tents needed to be really close to each other, it's not ideal when you're next to a stranger. The park is an ideal location as we could always see our children but its very unsteady, wobbles alot whilst children are playing on it. There's a big hook poking out the ground which is a potential hazard. The tiles on the floor arnt securely fastened down. On the morning of leaving our 7year old children were approached by the owner in a very aggressive manner, when really I should have been approached as I am the adult! One of our children is profoundly deaf and has ADHD, it was out of order the way she carried off hence why ive given 1 star! She was shouting that they had damaged the floor and demanding them to go and fix it. As I approached her to see what the problem was she demanded I went to the park to see what they had done. As we got there I could see 5 tiles had been lifted not damaged, when I asked my son why he'd done it he said he was looking for bugs. I told him he must not remove them and look elsewhere for bugs. It took me 1 minute to place them back. As I was doing it she was screaming at me saying don't expect her to do it. I would highly recommend these tiles to be securely fastened down to avoid this happening again! Also she screamed at me saying children should be supervised whilst on the park, I understand this but there was many children coming on and off the field at all times day and night! They were going on the park unsupervised and all weekend we didn't see any parents with them, these children also was in and out of our tents and around our tents all weekend, that lead us to be worried about leaving our tents unsupervised, it's also a concern that parents aren't aware that these children are around strangers! Upon reviewing the owner has indicated that I'm an unfit mother, obviously shes trying to back track, saying she didn't scream at my children when 5 adults witness this! Also saying that people left the site because of my apparent behaviour, it's all lies, they were 2 other tents and we got on with both of them having a laugh day and night. After looking through the reviews it's not the first time someone has complained about her shouting at children!
