About Mill Farm Shepherds Hut
Tucked into the corner of Mill Farm Country Park's campsite on the edge of Skipsea village, this cosy shepherd's hut for two makes an ideal East Yorkshire coastal retreat. The beach is a 15-minute stroll away, while the local pub is just five minutes on foot – perfect for those who'd rather leave the car parked. In the village itself you'll find a shop and a charming tea room with ice cream parlour, plus the atmospheric remains of Skipsea Castle perched on an Iron Age mound.
Inside, the fully equipped hut sleeps two on a 5x6-foot bed (linen and towels provided) and features a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. There's no TV here by design – instead you've got books, puzzles, games and a radio for low-key downtime. Outside, a small hardstanding area offers table seating and a grassy spot for your own barbecue (tools supplied).
A short walk brings you to the well-appointed facilities block with spacious showers and toilets, washing-up area, hairdryer points and accessible facilities. Free hot water and thoughtful extras throughout make this a comfortable, unplugged base for exploring nearby Hornsea, Bridlington and Filey.

I stayed at shepherds hut this week and it was fabulous very clean I would like to see a tv for a night time when I was sitting after being out all day and I do think the charge for the bunting it should be free
