East Lydford is a small hamlet between Somerton and Castle Cary. A pub and local shop are within a 15-minute walk, and the surrounding countryside offers miles of walking, with the River Brue nearby. Clarks Village shopping centre, Glastonbury and numerous National Trust properties lie within 30 minutes by car. Burnham-on-Sea beach and Bath are both under an hour away. The property is non-smoking.
