Old Farm Barn
Somerset

Glastonbury and Street sit within easy reach of the countryside south of the town, where this converted barn offers a private base for exploring Somerset. The property stands alone on its own driveway, approached through an orchard, with parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue.
Everything is on the ground floor. An open-plan living space runs the length of the building, with a wood burner, dining area and kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Doors open directly onto the garden. A second sitting room has a sofa bed that sleeps two, and there are two bedrooms—one with a zip-and-link super king (which can be split into singles on request) and ensuite shower, the other a standard double with a bath and shower. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and logs for the burner are included. An electric car charging point is on site. Smoking is not permitted.
The barn was converted to a high standard in 2021 and suits couples, small families or friends wanting their own space, with walks available from the doorstep across the surrounding fields.

What guests say
Spacious and luxurious holiday cottage. Very clean and tastefully furnished and equipped with good appliances and other kitchen stuff. Also nicely decorated for Christmas. There is a spacious open plan living, a second living space with a beautiful view and two bedrooms en suite. Its quiet and rural location was extra attractive for us, and therefore, the sound of the heat pump at night was a slight disappointment for me. But other than that, I can't think of any faults!
