Families and larger groups will find Court Place works well for a shared holiday. The sprawling half of a 150-year-old farmhouse offers four bedrooms across three floors and two bathrooms, sleeping up to 11 with a mix of double and single beds. The top-floor bedroom has a zip-and-link kingsize that converts to twin singles if needed. Ground-floor living centres on a sitting room with an open fire and a separate dining room, while the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking from scratch—oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave all there. A cot and highchair are available if you're travelling with young children, and one pet is welcome to join you.
The house sits in a landscaped garden on the edge of Porlock village, with views across the Bristol Channel. Walking dominates the area: Exmoor National Park is nearby, the Quantock Hills offer further exploration, and North Devon beaches lie to the west. Minehead seaside resort sits close by, as does Dunster Castle. Shops and a pub (The Ship Inn among them) are within a few minutes' walk. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, and logs for the fire are available locally. You have the whole property to yourself, with private parking on site.
