Dronefield Lodge

Dronefield Lodge is a substantial house in Somerset near Fryer Hire, privately owned and run as a whole-property rental. It sleeps 11 across five bedrooms: a kingsize with ensuite on the ground floor, two further ground-floor bedrooms (one double, one single), a first-floor bedroom with four single beds, and another first-floor double. Three bathrooms serve the property, each with heated towel rails.

The main living space is open-plan, combining kitchen, dining and lounge. The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering—electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washer-dryer mean you can cook properly or wash up easily. The dining table seats 11. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Outside, a private enclosed garden with lawn and sitting-out area contains a hot tub and barbecue; there is parking for 10 cars on the drive. Cots, highchairs and stairgates are available on request. The property is non-smoking and welcomes one well-behaved pet at no extra charge.

This works well for multi-family gatherings or large groups taking a holiday together. It's also suitable for families with young children, though note that hen and stag parties are not accepted.
