This stone cottage adjoins the owner's farmhouse on Fords Croft Farm, sitting high in rural Somerset with open views across the countryside. It's a self-contained property with its own entrance, garden and parking, offering the kind of seclusion that makes a proper break from ordinary life.
Two bedrooms sleep four: a double and a bunk room, with one bathroom containing a bath and shower. Downstairs holds the living and dining space (with Freeview TV and DVD player) and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, microwave, air fryer and the rest. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all covered. The decked patio opens onto the garden, where a barbecue lodge is available for evening meals. One dog is welcome if kept on a lead.
The location suits walking holidays and exploration of Exmoor; the coast, Wimbleball Lake and various National Trust properties are within reach. For food and drink, a pub with a Sunday carvery sits two miles away, with more substantial choice in nearby towns including Wiveliscombe and Watchet.
