Exmoor's highest points, prettiest harbours and wild moorland are all within reach of Oak Lodge, a detached two-bedroom property set on 21 acres of natural grounds. The location puts you between Dunkery Beacon's panoramic views and the coastal villages of Porlock Weir and Minehead, with red deer and Exmoor ponies roaming the heather-clad landscape around you.
Inside, everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a smart TV and wood-effect fire opens onto a south-facing decked patio through full-length doors, and the kitchen has a full cooker, dishwasher and microwave for self-catering meals. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms—one with a shower room and grab rails, the other with a bath and shower—and each opens directly onto the patio or garden. The property sleeps 4 and is entirely yours. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included; there's an external washing machine, enclosed lawn with garden furniture, and parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet stays free.
The single-level design with level access from the patio and a ramp to the entrance makes it accessible for less mobile guests and wheelchair users. No smoking indoors. The grounds contain a spring-fed water supply and a small stream, and there are three steps down to the garden area.
