Hollies Cottage 16

Hollies Cottage 16 is a contemporary build finished to high specification. The ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining area with a 50-inch television and French doors onto a small enclosed garden, plus a kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob for proper cooking. Upstairs are four bedrooms—three with king-size beds and one single—served by two bathrooms, one ensuite to the main bedroom. The cottage sleeps seven and comes as your own private space; essentials like electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. One car can park on site.

Martock lies just under a mile away, a town built largely from local ham stone with independent shops, cafés and a selection of pubs and restaurants within quarter of a mile. The Hollies Hotel, 300 yards from the cottage, offers breakfast, dinner and a gym if you want a night off cooking. For larger shops and entertainment Yeovil and Crewkerne are both under 15 minutes' drive. National Trust properties including Montacute House, Barrington Court and Lytes Cary Manor make for worthwhile days out in the area. Smoking is not permitted inside. One well-behaved pet can stay with you.
