Hollies Cottage 4

Hollies Cottage 4 is a two-bedroom cottage within a complex of holiday properties near Martock in Somerset. The whole place is yours alone, sleeping four across a king-sized bed in the main bedroom and a double in the second. Each bedroom has its own bathroom—one with a shower cubicle, one with a bath and shower—and both are heated. Downstairs is open-plan: a living space with a 50-inch TV, dining area, and kitchen equipped for proper cooking with an electric oven and hob. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; the heating is gas-fired and the parking is on site.

The real draw here is proximity to Hollies Hotel, just 300 yards away. You can walk there for breakfast or dinner without cooking, use the bar for a drink, or access the gym and hotel bicycles. Martock itself—a mile distant—has independent shops, cafés and local stone buildings worth a wander. The National Trust properties of Montacute House, Barrington Court and Lytes Cary Manor are within reach for a day out. Yeovil and Crewkerne are under 15 minutes away if you need bigger stores or more choice. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
