Hollies Cottage 6 comes fully equipped for self-catering: the kitchen has electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge-freezer for proper cooking, while the open-plan ground floor includes a 50-inch TV, dining space and French doors to the garden. Both bedrooms are kingsize with televisions and en-suite bathrooms – one with a shower cubicle, the other with a bath and shower over. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with a welcome pack on arrival.

The cottage sits in a small complex of luxury properties near Martock in Somerset, a mile from the town itself with its independent shops and cafés. You have a private enclosed garden with patio and seating, plus parking for one car on site. The Hollies Hotel is just 300 yards away, offering breakfast, dinner and bar facilities, plus access to a gym and bikes if you want them. National Trust properties including Montacute House and Barrington Court are within reach for a day out. Smoking is not permitted inside.
