Minehead's seafront and town centre are within reach, but Pebblethorn Cottage sits far enough back to feel genuinely quiet. The property is a Grade II-listed thatched building, restored to combine period character—stone floors, exposed beams—with the practicalities of modern living. You get the whole place to yourself: two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, arranged for four guests total.
The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, opening into a dining area. Outside, there's a garden with seating and a barbecue, plus parking on site. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. The cottage does not permit smoking. One dog is welcome to stay.
This works well for a couple wanting space and privacy, or a family seeking a base near the coast. Pubs and local shops are accessible without being intrusive; the Quay Inn is nearby if you'd rather eat out.

Beautiful cottage, idiylic location on sea front. Close to everything you need. Great for staying local or a base to go further in the area. John and Jenny are great, very welcoming. Well worth a stay.

Wonderful! My wife and I enjoyed three lovely nights. Cottage so homely and we'll equipped. Just across the road from the sea, with the Quay Inn, where we had a delicious Sunday lunch, just a few steps away. Definitely want to stay again!!
