Quietreach Cottage stands within private parkland in the Somerset countryside, surrounded by open land and a sense of genuine seclusion. The setting is rural and quiet—the kind of place where you can hear birdsong—yet the cottage itself is substantial: a Grade II listed building of stone with mullioned windows, oak beams running through the rooms, and a fireplace that draws the eye when you walk in.
The property sleeps 16 across seven bedrooms and five bathrooms, making it suitable for large family gatherings or groups of friends. The main living space opens out across the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with a table that seats 16, and there is also a separate sitting room and a garden room with views over the grounds. Everything needed for self-catering is provided, along with wifi, bed linen and towels. Outside, a hot tub sits ready for use. The whole cottage is yours alone—no other guests, no shared facilities.
This is a place to arrive after 4pm and settle in for several days or a week. It suits people who want rural peace without isolation, and who need room for everyone to spread out. One well-behaved dog is welcome. No smoking indoors.
