The Moorfield Lodge

The Moorfield Lodge comes ready for groups. Electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The kitchen is built for feeding large numbers: it has two ovens, a four-door Aga-style range, two dishwashers, two fridges and two freezers, plus a 12-seat dining table and a separate red dining room that seats 20. There's a snug with Apple TV, a games room with table football and ping-pong, a piano in the boot room, and open fires throughout. One pet is welcome here.

Eight bedrooms across the property sleep 16 guests, with two en-suite bathrooms plus two ground-floor WCs. The main house sits on 60 acres with three lakes for swimming, a sauna and gym in the converted stable block, and several fire pits scattered around the gardens. A pub is within a mile. The grounds include dining and lounging areas outside, with tables and sunshades dotted about. No smoking is permitted throughout.
