Fieldview Snug

Fieldview Snug is a single-storey annexe near Penselwood Village Hall in Somerset, set up for two people in a private entrance arrangement. Everything is on one level: an open-plan living space with a sofa and electric fire facing a smart TV, a kitchen with electric hob and combined microwave-oven-grill, a bedroom with a king-size bed, and a shower room. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included. There is one step up to the entrance, and a further step into the garden.

The patio is the main draw—a large sitting-out area with a fire pit for evening use. A lawn is available if you want it, and you can park two cars on site. The setting is rural enough that you are surrounded by countryside and woodland. The owners' cats live on the property, so expect them about. No smoking inside.

The location works for exploring the area. National Trust properties including Stourhead, Montacute and Tintinhull are all within reach; Shaftesbury with Gold Hill is a 20-minute drive, and Glastonbury Tor around 45 minutes. Bruton and its Hauser and Wirth gallery are also nearby.
