Aird Cottage

Aird Cottage is a substantial property that comes fully equipped for a longer stay or a gathering. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms are split between the main house and a separate single-bedroom annexe in the garden. The main house has a ground-floor bedroom with a four-poster bed and an ensuite, two upstairs bedrooms (one with an ensuite, one with pull-out single beds for children), plus a family bathroom. The annexe offers independent accommodation with its own kitchen, living space and shower room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; the woodburner in the main living room comes with initial fuel for the fire. A welcome pack is provided.

The kitchen in the main house is fitted for serious cooking, with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher and coffee machine. The annexe has its own kitchenette with electric cooking and a washer dryer. Both spaces have sitting areas with smart TV; the main living room opens onto the garden through patio doors. The enclosed back garden includes seating and a barbecue. There is parking for four cars.

The cottage sits in the coastal village of Dunure on the Ayrshire coast. The setting suits extended family visits, golf trips, or groups wanting some separation between sleeping areas—the annexe works well for guests who prefer their own space. Smoking is not permitted.
