Lands of Turnberry Cottage - Royal Dornoch

The Ayrshire coast around Girvan draws visitors for its dramatic clifftop views and long stretches of beach. Lands of Turnberry Cottage sits within the grounds of the Trump Turnberry resort, giving guests the run of shared amenities that include a heated indoor swimming pool (20m x 6m, open 06:30 to 21:30), a gym, and direct access to the resort's restaurants and other facilities. The cottage itself is private and self-contained, with parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point.

The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs: an open-plan living and dining space with a 65-inch smart TV, a fully fitted kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine, and one bedroom with a king bed and smart TV. Upstairs: a second bedroom with two king beds, and a bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail. The property sleeps up to six and comes with bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. A travel cot and highchair are available. No smoking inside.

Golf is the main draw for many—the resort's Ailsa Course is one of Scotland's most celebrated links, and guests get residential rates on the championship courses. Others come for the coastal walks, the proximity to Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran, or simply to use the pool and spa. One dog is welcome to stay.
