Salcombe's steep hillside streets lead down to the Kingsbridge Estuary, with the town's shops, restaurants and Maritime Museum within easy reach of Courtenay Street 5. This refurbished Victorian property sits moments from the waterfront, and the estuary is visible from both double bedrooms upstairs. One dog is welcome here.
The layout spreads across four floors. The kitchen and dining room are on the lower ground, fitted with an electric oven and gas hob for proper cooking, plus a dishwasher and French doors opening to a patio. The ground floor has a sitting room with a smart TV and gas fire. Bedrooms occupy the first and second floors: a super kingsize with estuary views, a bunk room for children, a three-quarter double, and a second double with French doors to a balcony and an ensuite shower room. The second shower room serves the rest of the house. A utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided, and gas central heating keeps the place warm. The rear garden and patio are furnished and planted with mature shrubs. Parking is available in the public car park nearby at a charge. No smoking inside.
