Marine Mews

Marine Mews works well for couples or a family of four wanting their own space in Salcombe without the fuss of a larger house. The mews cottage has two bedrooms—a king on the ground floor and two singles upstairs—plus a bathroom, all to yourselves. Ground floor living is open plan: a sitting area with TV and DVD player opens onto a terrace through French doors, with the kitchen and dining space beside it. Upstairs is the second bedroom. There's a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

The kitchen has an electric hob, a combi microwave-oven-grill, fridge and dishwasher, so cooking proper meals is straightforward. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. A season car park ticket comes with the property. The mews stands close enough to Salcombe's centre that the quay, shops and pubs are within walking distance—the Harbour Hotel is nearby if you'd rather eat out—and the estuary views stretch over Smalls Cove and Mill Bay to the hills. No smoking inside.
