Sea Cottage is a single-storey 1970s bungalow perched high above the coastline, commanding views that stretch across Plymouth Sound to the Breakwater, Rame Head and the Devon-Cornwall border. The elevation itself is what makes the outlook remarkable—fishing boats, yachts and ferries move across the water throughout the day, and at the right tide you can watch surfers on the beaches below. The sunsets face west toward Cornwall.
Everything is on the ground floor: a spacious living area with sea-facing windows, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a double bedroom with storage, and a shower room with a heated towel rail. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The enclosed tiered garden has a patio and seating area, with parking for two cars on site. An 8-step entrance leads in; the garden itself has steep drops and is not suitable for children.
A footpath connects directly to Bovisand beaches and the South West Coast Path, so walking the coastline is straightforward. The location is quiet and rural, though occupied as a peaceful retreat rather than a social hub.
