Brushmaker Cottage spreads across three floors, giving six guests genuine space to move about. The ground floor holds a living room with a wood burner, a kitchen fitted for proper cooking, and a dining room that opens onto an enclosed garden with patio and barbecue. Upstairs are two double bedrooms—one with its own ensuite—and on the top floor a twin room. A pond sits in the garden, so that's worth knowing. The whole place is yours alone, with parking for four cars and wifi throughout.

Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard; logs for the burner are provided to start with. One dog stays free, and the cottage comes with a welcome pack plus doggy extras. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. No smoking indoors.

The location straddles Norfolk and Suffolk along the River Waveney valley. Diss is close by, placing you within reach of the Norfolk Broads, the Suffolk coast and North Norfolk coast beyond. Norwich lies twenty miles away. Bressingham Steam and Gardens is a ten-minute drive; a shop, pub and restaurant are one mile down the road.
