Great product at a great price. If you want a great retreat with your own fire pit and a great big hot tub you may after share, but you can book it privately if needed. Hobbit Houses are great, cosy warm and peaceful. Tea & Coffee available all day in the breakfast room, and overall a great site. We used the White Horse Pub about three miles away for a.mid day meal and snacked in the evening by the fire pit, enjoying the outside world. We will certainly go back without a doubt.

Booked a night in the zebra hut using a red letter gift. The hut itself is cute and cozy very very clean. The site needs a little TLC. Not the prettiest of settings when you arrive. Shower and rule basic but spotless. Breakfast was very basic more milk required for the coffee as it’s strong. Would I pay what they charge on line ,,, no there is nothing there the walk to the Oaksmere is not the best as hardly any footpath to walk safely there. Had a peaceful sleep tho. Enjoyable night away

Stayed for here for 2 nights in the zebra hut. Hut was cute, clean and cosy. Hot tub was fantastic and very warm and we even had a private booking for one hour. Sauna we couldn’t work out how to work it. There are some instructions but we didn’t expect to have to figure this out ourselves. Breakfast is v basic but this was communicated beforehand so we got what we expected. It could be better communicated that the canteen is open 24/7 - it just looks closed from the outside so a sign would be useful to have. Note that There are no cooking facilities on site - a fridge would be nice as we brought our own food as there is nothing available on site. Bathroom was basic but clean and had what we need - we had our own private space which was nice. The area around the hut could do with a clean up - we had a small table outside the hut but it is quite overgrown. We booked through a third party so do beware everything might not be included (we had to “cash in” our complimentary wine which seemed a bit sneaky) but we got everything we expected in the end. Surrounding area is nice but would recommend a car to get around properly - the Oaksmere pub/restaurant was great and recommend (15 min walk). We enjoyed our stay overall though - very peaceful and quiet

Me and husband stayed in the Flamingo hut last night we had a lovely time and really enjoyed our stay. The hut was clean and we had a separate shower and toilet block just for us.The canteen was open all night for hot drinks with a basic breakfast in the morning served between 8.30 and 9.30 that was fine for us! Everything was as per the owners email, and because we booked through Wowcher we knew we had to pay extra money in advance if we wanted any extras like the bath robes/wine etc, we understood this before we arrived and again this was not problem. It was a quirky fun mini break, we would return again, thanks!
