Dodds Barn

A converted barn on the outskirts of Fersfield, Dodds Barn stands alone on its own plot with views across open fields. The building has a modern interior defined by vaulted ceilings and generous glazing that floods the open-plan living and dining areas with light. Five bedrooms and five bathrooms means everyone has their own ensuite, with walk-in showers throughout. The fifth bedroom contains two single beds; the other four have kingsize doubles.

The ground floor flows from kitchen through to living spaces and out to a patio. You'll find a full complement of cooking equipment including an induction hob and combi microwave, plus a wine cooler and dishwasher. A separate utility room has washing and tumble-drying facilities. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided. The garden includes a hot tub for six, sitting-out areas, a gas BBQ and parking for eight cars. One dog is welcome. No smoking throughout.

The location sits between Norwich and Thetford, with Diss five minutes away by car. Nearby walks and cycling trails make this a practical base for exploring South Norfolk, though the tranquil setting and open views are reason enough to settle in for the week. Note that there are steps in the garden and a small fenced pond on the property.
