Diss sits just 3 miles away with its mainline railway station, shops and market town amenities, while the Waveney Valley's cycle routes and fishing spots are accessible from the doorstep. Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens lie nearby. The cottage itself dates to the 1600s when it functioned as the village inn; it has since been restored as a two-storey property, though the building's age means steep stairs, uneven floors and low headroom in places. Children under 5 are not suitable for this property.
Downstairs is an open-plan living and kitchen space with a woodburner, smart TV and electric cooker for self-catering. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and a second room with pull-out single beds that can be arranged as a twin—plus a bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail. The essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. There is parking for one car with an electric charging point, and a cycle shed at the rear. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.
A garden with seating area overlooks the front, and the cottage's central village location means walks begin at your door. No smoking is permitted inside.
