What guests say
We decided to come down the night before as we’re off on a cruise and found the Prince Consort to spend the night. Booking was easy, very reasonably priced and suited our requirements. We did contact ahead of time to ask if we could leave our suitcases with them early as we were arriving earlier than check in time. They were very accommodating. The pub is lovely, plenty of room inside and a nice sized garden with plenty of seating. Large selection of drinks. We stayed in a twin en-suite room, it was exactly what we needed, a bed for the night with shower and toilet. Room had tea/coffee, TV, bottles of water, towels and shower gel and shampoo. We were very impressed. We also had food whilst there from the pub and I have to say it was fantastic, some of the best food we’ve ever had. The only downside was after looking at other people’s food that came out, I didn’t have enough room to have that too! Overall it was a lovely stay, we will definitely be coming back whenever we are down that way. Thank you for making our stay a lovely one.

Wow, lovely place. We only wanted a quick lunch like a sandwich. Wish we had shared the lunch. Large plate with salad, chips and a chicken baguette. If you are a small eater, you better share as the food is yummy too.

My boyfriend and I stayed at The Prince Consort while we were attending a festival. It is a lovely pub with very friendly staff and great food. The room we stayed in was a good small room and quite enough for our needs. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back again.
