It was a nice experience. We can buy ticket from the shore up and down 7.50 pounds. A ten minutes journey from the shore to sea. It is a must journey recommend it to visit. Reaching in the sea there is also place for cafeteria, restaurant and can sea also rescue boats etc. good place to walk and catch fishes and see some ships near by, cargo ships etc. altogether nice experience. When you come back the pier you can also go to adventurous park where each ride cost four pound or 25 for one day ticket per person. And other games stations are near by also gives a nice location for all activities with family

I have made a five-star rating because I did have a very good time on Southend pier ,but there were a few negative issues ,But nevertheless, I cannot be mean and deduct any stars. Me and my family took the train along the pier which we have done before. It's a nice attraction, at a reasonable price. There was a pop-up bar and DJ booth and a funky kind of beached themed benched area where we sat and enjoyed a drink. It was a nice sunny day so enjoyed the view. As the tide was high, the music was hitting the spot. We could have been anywhere. Here are the butts, I feel Southend pier you should advertise what is going on at the end of the pier ,as we had no idea and just stumbled across the area that I just referred to. Meanwhile, the magnificent triangular structure at the very end of the pier, I feel could be put to so much better use. Maybe you are just serving your audience or customers, but this could really be a magnificent venue drawing high class customers if it was promoted correctly.😎,✌️+❤️

We had a lovely time on the Southend Pier and Railway after a leisurely walk along the coastal path from Shoeburyness Station to Southend Pier. The pier railway offers a special price of £4.20 for those who are over 60 instead of the normal price of £7.50, which is a great saving and encouraged you to at least spend something in the café at the end of the pier. I fully recommend that you pay a visit for a lovely time on the longest pier in the world!!

Show this to cashier Lovely ride polite and friendly staff always ready to help. Shop prices are fairly reasonable.
