Had a lovely time on this very iconic reminder of times gone by. Great gift shops, gelato was brilliant, fun arcade and an amazing water clock. Lots to eat and drink and a great way to spend an hour or two.

I am a huge Southwold fan, I have been since a child, and have visited many times. The Pier is always high on my list of places to visit- there is something for everybody, things to look at, shops, a cafe and a restaurant. With the beautiful views. And very tasteful too. Highly recommend visiting! A view from my table, below.

A wonderful place to be! Small arcade at the front does the job for the kids without keeping you in there all day. The restaurant food was great as was the ice cream. The best part is home made arcade is very funny and entertaining for all. Shops were fab and not over priced.

Beautiful beach! The pier was fun especially with a little treat at the clock! Fish and chips were pricey, not sure if it was because of location, being a bank holiday weekend then prices were put up. Would definitely go again as it's kid friendly and the town centre was also nice to walk around. We parked in the car park and walked maybe 10-15, minutes to the actual pier but did speak to locals who said that you would need to get there from 9am for the closest parking. But if you're ok to walk (with a view of the sea and along a narrow pathway with the huts, it's fine!)
